Getting started

Menu Maker AI turns the menu you already have, a photo of the old one or the dishes and prices typed in, into a finished menu design. Export it as an A4 PDF for print or as a PNG or JPEG image, and make a QR table sign that points to your online menu.

Add your menu. Type your sections, dishes, descriptions and prices, or photograph your printed menu and check what the app read from it.
Choose a style. Pick a design from the catalogue as a starting point and answer a few questions about your venue. The app's AI draws the whole page.
Check every line. Read the design line by line and compare every price with your menu. If something is wrong, generate it again.
Export and share. Download an A4 PDF for print or a PNG or JPEG image for social media and chat, or make a QR table sign.

There is no signup step. An account is created for you when you install the app, so you can start straight away.

Common questions

Do I need design skills?

No. You add the dishes, descriptions and prices; AI draws the whole page, layout, type, ornament and colour included. There are no boxes to drag and no fonts to pick.

Can I start from the menu I already have?

Yes. Photograph your printed menu and the app reads its sections, dishes and prices into a list you can edit. It shows where it was unsure, so you can check those lines first. Your first import is free while you set up; later imports use plan credits.

Will every price come out right?

Not always. The image model draws every letter, so a word or a price can come out different from what you entered. The app asks you to check every line before you download, and you can generate the design again.

Which files do I get?

An A4 PDF at 300 dpi for printing, and a PNG or JPEG at 1080 × 1350 pixels for Instagram, WhatsApp and your website. Save them to your phone or share them straight from the app.

How does the QR table sign work?

Enter the web address of your online menu. The app generates the QR code for exactly that address and sets it, with your venue name, on a backdrop drawn by AI. It does not host your online menu.

Can I add my logo?

Yes. Upload your logo and the design carries it. Without one, the AI is instructed not to invent a logo, monogram or crest from your venue name.

Which currencies can I use?

Any currency that is legal tender. Prices keep their exact value, and you choose whether the currency sign appears next to them.

What does it cost?

Building your menus is free, and your first design comes as a preview. A weekly or monthly plan gives you credits for new designs and unlocks PNG, JPEG and PDF exports. The price is shown in the app before you buy; the terms have the details.

Subscriptions, cancelling and refunds

Where you are billed. Paid plans are sold and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by us. The price and the renewal terms are shown on the purchase screen before you buy.
Cancelling. On iOS: Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. On Android: Play Store → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep the plan until the period you paid for ends.
Refunds. Ask the store. We do not hold your payment method and cannot refund you directly. We never see or store your card number.
Restoring a purchase. If you have paid but the app does not show the plan, use the restore option on the purchase screen while signed in to the same store account you bought with.

When a generation fails or looks wrong

Check your connection and try again — generation runs on our servers, so the app needs to reach them.
Give the model more to work on: a sharper, better-lit photo, or a more specific description.
Generate again. Output is probabilistic, so a second attempt with the same input can give a noticeably better result.
Results are not guaranteed to be accurate. Dish names, descriptions and prices in a generated menu are drawn by an image model and can differ from what you entered. You must read the generated menu line by line and verify every price before you print, publish or hand it to a guest.

Account and data

There is no signup. We do not ask for your name, and there is no password to lose; an email address is only ever optional, in the feedback form, if you want a reply. Your account is created anonymously from your installation of the app.
Deleting your account. In the app, open Settings → Your data → Delete my data and confirm. If you can no longer open the app, write to privacy@blwapps.com. The deletion page explains what is removed, what is kept and what to put in your email.
Your privacy rights. Access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection — write to privacy@blwapps.com. The Privacy Policy has the detail.
Where your data is. On a server we rent from Hetzner in Helsinki, Finland, inside the EU.
